GLM G4 - Japan's electric supercar to compete with Tesla

Japan's emerging brand, GLM suddenly introduce electric supercar capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 3.6 seconds. Its price above $ 200,000.

Major brands such as Ferrari, Land Rover or Mercedes consecutive new vehicles launched at the Paris Motor Show this year. But a little-known brand from Japan is the GLM to make a surprise with electric supercar called G4.

Four-door design with bird form (gullwing) painted the same color blue, G4 impressed with experts as well as visitors.


Initially, the G4 was designed by Savage Rivale company (Netherlands) and intends to use the V8 engine from an American automaker. But until the last minute, the company leadership has changed and decided to use its electric motor GLM (Japan) to match the design style of the future.


GLM G4 has two electric motors front and rear, drive through multi-level transmission. Electric motors have many coils in the stator (coil creates a magnetic field) to set up a separate energy levels. Users can change to adjust the speed and capacity.


GLM G4 can move distances of 417 km per charge, accelerate to 100 km / h less than 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km / h.


Designing, owning G4 slim headlamps, low ground clearance, heavy hood and steering wheel are leather-wrapped white. When all four doors open, passengers entering the vehicle easier. Gullwing doors also help better protect car accident.

GLM G4 will be sold first in Japan and followed by Singapore and Hong Kong. Then, the car can reach the US market if passed rigorous standards here. GLM G4 is priced at around $ 224,400.
